Holy Basil Krishna (Organic, Cut and Sifted)

Holy basil is an aromatic, perennial shrub which grows up to 1 meter in height, native to India, although it is also found in Australia, West Africa, and some Middle Eastern countries. It is used in Ayurvedic medicine and is also considered a sacred plant by the Hindus. The Hindu name for holy basil, Tulsi, means "the incomparable one.” The leaves, stems, and seeds are used to make medicine. Holy basil is reportedly used for anxiety, stress, diabetes, high cholesterol, and many other conditions. Holy basil is sometimes called "hot basil" because of its peppery taste.
