Feverfew Herb (Organic, Cut and Sifted)

Feverfew is native to parts of western Asia and the Balkans, but it now grows throughout the world. Feverfew leaves are normally dried for use in medicine. Fresh leaves and extracts are also used. Feverfew is promoted for fevers, headaches, and arthritis; topically (applied to the skin), it’s promoted for toothache and as an antiseptic and insecticide. Feverfew has been called “medieval aspirin” or “aspirin of the 18th century.” No serious side effects have been reported from feverfew use. Side effects can include nausea, digestive problems, and bloating; if the fresh leaves are chewed, sores and irritation of the mouth may occur.
