Description

Nature’s Answer Dandelion Root Extract Supports Healthy Liver Function, and promotes Liver Detoxification & Waste Elimination.

The word, “Dandelion” is from the French, “Dent de lion” (tooth of the lion), probably because its leaves are serrated, like long teeth.  Dandelion Root was considered as part of the official pharmacopeia of Rome, and is also part of the Chinese Materia Medica. Taraxacum is called Pu Gong Ying, and is used to clear heat in the body and remove fire poison, conditions which in Western medical understanding equate to helping the liver in its detoxification capacity.

Nature’s Answer® Dandelion Root Liquid Extract is unique. If you compare the milligrams you are getting per dose, you will notice that 2  DROPPERFULS (2 ml) is made from 2000 mg of concentrated herb

Additional Information

Dandelion is native to Europe but found throughout temperate regions in the Northern Hemisphere. The leaves, flowers, and root of the plant have traditionally been used in Mexican and other North American medicine. Today, dandelion is promoted as a “tonic,” as a diuretic, and for a variety of conditions, including infections and digestive symptoms. People use dandelion for conditions such as swelling (inflammation) of the tonsils (tonsillitis), infections of the kidney, bladder, or urethra (urinary tract infections or UTIs), and many others, but as with many complementary and alternative medicines, there is limited scientific information available to fully validate the effectiveness and safety, so please consult your physician before use. As a food, dandelion is used as a salad green and in soups, wine, and teas. The roasted root is used as a coffee substitute. Please consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications. Keep out of reach of children.
